In 2023, Raj took over Raj Bengal Indian Takeaway after stepping back into semi-retirement and spending more time with family, including enjoying life as a grandfather.
Prior to this, he successfully ran a well-known Indian restaurant in Clifton, Shefford for more than two decades. While settling into a quieter pace of life, he discovered a small takeaway in Biggleswade that required care, commitment and a fresh approach. Through consistent effort and dedication, Raj Bengal has grown into a valued part of the local community, building a loyal customer base across the town.
With over 45 years of experience and a deep passion for Indian cuisine, Raj has brought his knowledge and skill to this thriving takeaway.
